Privacy policy

We collect information families, staff, volunteers, donors, and PTO administrators provide to run PTO programs. This can include names, email addresses, phone numbers, family directory details, classroom affiliations, newsletter preferences, SMS preferences, donation details, reimbursement requests, and submitted website or newsletter content.

We also use normal website and service logs from our hosting, authentication, payment, email, and messaging providers to keep the site secure and working.

We use information to operate the Bach PTO website, maintain the family directory, coordinate PTO events and volunteers, process donations and reimbursements, send newsletters or operational email, send SMS updates when a recipient has opted in, respond to questions, and comply with legal or financial obligations.

SMS is used sparingly for timely PTO and classroom updates. Only an explicit opt-in should be treated as permission to text a phone number.

Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent records are used only to provide Bach PTO text messaging and related support.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except with service providers that help us deliver messages, operate the service, or comply with law.

We use service providers such as website hosting, database, authentication, payment, email, and messaging services. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to Bach PTO.

We do not sell family directory information, phone numbers, email addresses, or SMS consent records.

Approved families can update directory contact information and communication preferences from their Bach PTO account profile.

You can opt out of SMS by replying STOP to a Bach PTO text message or by changing your SMS preference in your directory profile. You can request help by replying HELP or by contacting us.
