1. 5th Grade Fundraiser - Pre-Order Lollipops now!
   
   The 5th graders are announcing a fundraiser to benefit the Bach 5th Grade Camp Scholarship Fund! Money raised will support their grade going to Camp Storer this spring. They are selling 1 lollipop for $4 and 3 for $10. If you or another grown up in your kid(s)’s lives would like to order a lollipop for Valentine’s Day, fill out the pre-order form now!
   
   Pre-ordered lollipops will be delivered to classrooms at Bach on February 6 and 7.
   
2. Library updates
   
   Sharing a big thanks from Mrs. Pham: The library was able to add about 200 new books from the bookfair funds!
   
   Bach Diverse Book Initiative: This initiative will provide Bach’s Y5s - 5th grade students and teachers with a collection of diverse, engaging, and culturally responsive texts at multiple reading levels to support all students. Our goal is to strategically update the Bach library collection over the next few years with recent, culturally. authentic, and award winning books. With the help from our wonderful Bach families, we will be able to develop a culturally responsive print book collection that provides windows, mirrors, and sliding doors for our students!
   
   Visit the Bookshop wishlist to purchase books. The wishlist will be open until April 30, 2025. We've chosen Bookshop as the home of the book wish list because purchases support our own local bookstores. Please share with family and friends. Thank you!

3. New! Book discussion: The Bach PTO will be hosting a three part discussion with guest speakers in April on the book The Anxious Generation. Please fill out this form to express your interest and availability.
   
   
4. Event updatesArt Night has been moved from March 10th to March 3rd. Please update your calendars accordingly.
5. Thanks to a grant the Gage family applied for we will be having a STEM night at Bach March 20th.
6. Tentatively planning to bring back dance night April 4th (save the date)!
7. Our next PTO meeting will be February 12th 6:30-7:30pm via Zoom
