What Is The Fun Run?

The Fun Run is the culmination of Bach’s biggest fundraiser of the year! Each class will have a chance to walk, run, or skip their way through an exciting obstacle course. The more laps they complete, the better! Family and friends are invited to come cheer on their favorite runners and help make the day extra special.

Before the Event

Friends and family can make donations to support their child’s Fun Run. Local businesses can also contribute through sponsorships, helping us reach our school-wide fundraising goal.

Funds raised through the Fun Run support the things that make school special, including field trips, hands-on curriculum materials, library books, community events, and assemblies throughout the year.

And we can’t do it without our amazing parent volunteers! We need help with:

• Before: Unloading the truck and setting up the obstacle course the day before
• During: Helping students navigate the obstacle course during the event
• After: Tearing down and cleaning up after the event

Fun Run Day! September 25, 2026

On Fun Run day, please send your child to school with:

• Comfortable shoes for running and moving
• A water bottle
• Weather-appropriate clothing, including hats, sunscreen, sweatshirts, etc.

We’ll send out more information about start times for each grade as the event gets closer.

How Can Kids Help?

1. Design a Yard Sign: Create a personalized yard sign to help spread the word about the Fun Run. Yard signs will be available for pickup at Curriculum Night on September 16.
2. Make a Video: Have your child create a short video inviting family and friends to support their Fun Run. Share it directly with loved ones or post it on social media!
3. Share a Flyer: Have your child distributeFun Run flyersto neighbors and friends to help spread the word.

How Can Parents Help?

1. Connect Us With Local Businesses:Do you have a connection with a local business that might be interested in sponsoring the Fun Run? We’d love your help!Questions about business contributions? Contact Kendrin Sonneville kendrins@umich.edu.
2. Help Your Child Fundraise: Encourage your child to reach out to family, friends, and neighbors for donations. Every contribution helps us reach our school-wide goal!
